Dywane Henry Dawkins, Sr. was born and raised on Long Island New York, where he would soon begin sharpening his leadership skills by being the oldest of four under the guidance of his family. Within the protection of a nurturing Christian home, Pastor Dawkins dedicated his life to the Lord at the early age of 12. He was brought up, saved, and baptized in a holiness church. Outside of those four walls young DH Dawkins was greatly influenced by his grandparents. Pastor Dawkins learned many lessons from both the church and his daily life experiences, which would prove most useful later on in life.
In his early teenage years, Pastor Dawkins noticed a transformation process occurring, as God began to move in his life as the master conductor, orchestrating many different chains of events. The ultimate event that would lead Pastor Dawkins to the pulpit would be a charge to leadership, and an undeniable call on his life to ministry.
